1. What do you think of your classes so far?
- This year I only have 5 classes which makes it so much easier to keep track of my things. The day also goes by quicker with only 5 classes. The assignments in my classes are very easy besides in my first period because I don't really understand what's going on. Besides that class, I think my senior year should be pretty easy and then I'll be done with it and graduation soon. Also, I don't ever have homework.

2. Which class is your favorite?
- My favorite class probably has to be my fourth and my fifth which is photography and pre calculus. My photography class is my favorite because I love to take pictures and I've gotten used to the environment since I've taken photography since a sophomore. Also, Ms. Caruso is the best teacher ever and I love her personality!! My fifth period is really cool because I love math and the teacher is very awkward and funny, also lots of my friends are in that class.

3. Was building your website hard or easy? Explain why?
- Building my website was really easy for me. At first I had forgotten how to do it but once I remembered, I finished it quickly. Since I have been using this website since my sophomore year in photography class, I have gotten used to it. I know all the basic tools to editing my website.

5. Tell me about the coolest photo you have taken so far.
- The coolest photo I have taken so far probably has to be one that I took of myself as an angel. I composed the image to look angelic with all white and neutral colors and by making myself glow with photoshop. Also, I wore a white sort of crown or halo on top of my head to make it seem more towards that angel vibe.

6. What style of photography are you interested in? Why? Explain.
- I'm interested in mostly black and white or nature portrait photography. I just love how the emotion or expression on ones face can change the photograph completely and become something new. Also, the filter used on a picture can change the tone of the picture drastically. Which is why I like the black and white filter or a dark toned filter because it just expresses my favorite type of emotion. It just leaves a mysterious and sad vibe to it and also depending on the emotion shown.

7. What do you plan to do over Labor Day weekend? Explain.
- I am going on a trip to Texas just for Labor Day weekend. We are going to visit my stepdads family and also to go shopping. I've never been to Texas so this should be a fun experience for me. I'm also hoping that I get to go to Six Flags and eat at my favorite place, In-N-Out.

Still Life Journal

1. What kind of still life are you think about creating?
- I want to create a still life image with all of the items that I value or adore bunched up together to represent the kind of person I am.

2. What items are you going to need to bring to make it happen?
- I'm planning to bring my favorite makeup products and heels along with my softball equipment and cleats to show that there is two sides to a girl and that women can do both at the same time.
​
3. How do you think lighting is going to work for you?
- I figure it's going to be a bit hard for me because we are going to be using the colored lights that Ms. Caruso owns but the lights will be off since we are shooting in the black box. The only light that will shine on the items will be the colored lights so hopefully the camera will allow me to take the picture even if the subject is too dark cause thats always a problem when it comes to shooting in the dark. Im hoping that there will be enough light coming from these lights to be able to distinguish the subject.

4. Is your still life going to be contemporary or traditional in appearances?
- My still life will be contemporary in appearances because I will be shooting items that I like that currently still exist and that are brand new.

5. Is your still life based of something like a theme from a book?
- No, it is based on my likings but my still life images will each have their own theme such as a makeup still life image or a baseball still life image or other things that I find appealing.

I chose this still life image because the style of the shoes reminds me of a skater and there is also a skateboard in the picture which means that thats what the image is trying to show.
I chose this still life image because it shows characteristics or objects of a business woman such as the heel and the suitcase.
I chose this still life image because this shows different type of alcoholic drinks together. Those bottles together are probably the ingredients required to make the drink on the left.
I chose this still life image because I think its really cool how these lipsticks are made to appear as melting ice cream.
I chose this still life image because I love to do my nails and this shows many different shades of nail polish spilling and stacked up together.
I chose this still life image because I feel like its trying to show a better alternative than cake which is an apple (much healthier) with a candle on it.
